He has over 20 years of professional performing experience (and over 30 years of playing experience.) Pete pursued formal studies in both classical and jazz music and received a full scholarship to attend Temple University in 1985. He has performed alongside many notable jazz artists including; Warren Vache, Harry Allen, Larry McKenna, John Swana, Richie Cole, Grant Stewart, Byron Landham, Tom Lawton, Steve Gilmore and Robert "Bootsie" Barnes (to name a few).</div> <bR> <div> Critics have likened Pete Smyser's jazz artistry to such legendary guitar icons as Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, Jim Hall, and Barney Kessel.  Smyser has released 4 <A HREF="id4.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="CDs"><U>CD's</U></A> as a leader.</div> <bR> <div> Smyser has over 20 years of teaching experience and currently provides private guitar instruction from the following locations...
